Former Eunice Police officer injured

A GoFundMe account has been set up for former Eunice Police Brian Rozas who was injured Sunday while attempting to stop a vehicle in Lafayette where he works as a police officer. According to news reports, Rozas was struck by a suspect’s vehicle, which dragged him about 100 feet at about 1:20 a.m.

St Landry Sheriff’s Office to offer multi-state concealed permit training class Saturday

The St Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting a concealed carry permit training class at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at 211 West Park Ave., Eunice. The course is $100 and $80 for a spouse or renewal.
