The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. June 30 Racquel Deanna Clayton, 43, 100 block of Carmens Road, Palmetto. Aggravated assault with a firearm, criminal trespassing, simple assault. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Teen wounded for 2nd time

A 14-year-old Eunice teen was wounded for the second time this year, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot in a news release. Police were dispatched to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Jelks and Ulysses streets at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday. Police found the teen wounded in the hip.
