Motorcyclist dead after colliding with Suburban in Acadia Parish

A two-vehicle fatality crash involving a motorcycle on La. 95 at General Lane in Acadia Parish claimed the life of 21-year-old Brent Allen Miller of Lafayette at about 1 p.m. Friday, according to a Louisiana State Police Troop I news release.

4 wounded in domestic incident

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Meadow Apartments near Crowley regarding a shooting incident at about 8:20 p.m. Thursday. During the investigation, it was discovered that four people had been shot.

Police: 3rd and final arrest made in Christmas killing

Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said a third and final arrest was made Friday in a Christmas murder case. Ville Platte Police arrested Kagon Serie, 29, of South Soileau Street, Ville Platte, at his home. At 2:46 a.m.
