Tips sought in recent theft of tanker trailer at truck stop

The Crowley Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish are asking the public’s help in investigating the felony theft of a semi trailer. The theft occurred at Exit 80 Travel Plaza located at 2011 N. Cherokee Drive in Crowley on March 7.

UPDATE: Crowley police investigating shooting with injuries

The Crowley Police Dept. is investigating a shooting that resulted in injury to one victim. According to Chief Jimmy Broussard, a CPD officer on patrol happened to be in the immediate vicinity of the shooting - on W. Fifth St. - at the time it occurred, approximately 7:24 p.m.

UPDATE: Eunice shooting suspect surrenders

UPDATE: The suspect turned himself in at the St. Landry Parish Jail Thursday morning. St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Detective Shane Larson of the Eunice Police Department needs the public’s help in locating DeMondre Desmond Terry for the March 16 shooting of a Eunice man.
