By Rhett Manuel Sports Editor St. Edmund’s fingerprint was all over the 2025 Class 5-1A All-District Football Team, as the Blue Jays turned a season of steady growth and physical play into one of the strongest postseason showings in the district voting.

ELTL Team Pitre wins fall season

The final week, week 12, of the Eunice Ladies Tennis League (ELTL) ended with Team Simoneaux winning 16 points against their opponents Team Pitre having won 10 points. The fall season has officially ended with Team Pitre declared league winners with a grand total points of 152.

Team Pitre won EMTL fall championship

The EMTL (Eunice Men’s Tennis League) completed its 2025 fall season with Team Pitre as the winners with a final and total score of 89. A Championship game naming the Championship winners was played Monday evening.
