Governor easing COVID restrictions

BATON ROUGE — Following almost six weeks of improvements in Louisiana’s COVID case counts and a sustained decrease in COVID-related hospitalizations, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced that Louisiana will move forward to Phase 3.

Lady Cat trio named to All-District list

Louisiana COVID deaths spike over 1,000

As Louisiana's Corona virus numbers had seemed to be leveling, suddenly the state Tuesday posted the largest one-day spike in deaths, an additional 129, breaking above 1,000 in Louisiana's COVID-19 fatalities at 1,013.
