Police to get 5 new patrol vehicles

Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot was given the green light by aldermen to lease-purchase five Chevrolet Tahoe police units. It’s the third time since Fontenot has been police chief that the city has approved a lease-purchase agreement for patrol vehicles.

Police: Ride to Eunice ends with battery

By Harlan Kirgan Editor An 18-year-old woman accepted a ride to Eunice at about 6 p.m. Saturday in Chataignier and by 8 a.m. Sunday was reporting she had been sexually battered by a man and woman, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
