A "poopy" treat at Highland Elementary

Unusual Moth spotted

Hayzen Eaves of Eunice, 11, recently spotted an usual moth in his yard. He was playing outdoors with his younger brother Kaine. His mother did a little bit of research online and discovered that the moth is an albino Luna moth. Eaves is the son of Abigail Eaves and step-son of Nicole Dies of Eunice.

Broussard at Liberty

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by August Broussard & Friends. Admission is $5. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Starting at 10 a.m.

Attention all graduating seniors

Graduation is approaching soon and much is needed ahead of time for the newspaper’s special graduation edition. Eunice High and St. Edmund seniors are to email their senior bios.

Household items that can be reused

Many things people throw away can be reused again. I’m guilty for throwing away lots of items that I could reuse again for other purposes. After reading the following, courtesy of Newspaper Metro, I learned of certain containers I will now keep in my home and not throw away.
