By Harlan Kirgan Editor Depending on the interest rate, the St. Landry Parish Council may save from $250,000 up to $750,000 over the next eight years if it refinances its Road District 1 bond issue.

July 22 to 28 positivity rate is 13.7%, up from 10.4% in the July 15 to 21 period. ICU beds available in Region 4 as of the Wednesday update totaled 8 with 143 in use. There were 1,345 hospital beds in use and 346 available in Region 4 as of Wednesday.
