CDA hosts Valentine’s cake sale Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Eunice 208 will hold its annual Valentine’s cake and baked goods sale to fund charitable donations. Come by and support them following masses at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice on Saturday, Feb. 13 after 4 p.m.

Single parenting support group The next Single & Parenting seminar support group begins Feb. 24. The 13-week Single & Parenting sessions will start with a DVD than move to small groups. There will be a group facilitator for men and women. The group meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

March for Life is Friday in Eunice The annual March for Life is scheduled for noon Friday beginning at Picou’s Drug Store on 2nd Street for a socially distanced march to the Eunice City Hall in prayerful silence for a concluding prayer.

ELTL announces spring registration The ELTL will hold its spring registration now until Jan. 26. Players will play for 12 weeks and is set on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. The first date of play is set for Feb. 2. Registration fee is $25 which includes balls and an end of the season social.

Dr. MLK Jr. celebration canceled The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. City Wide celebration committee chairpersons Jacqueline Vallare and Mark Dupre announced that due to COVID-19 restrictions Eunice’s annual Martin Luther King celebrations and parade scheduled for Jan. 16-18 are canceled.
