Keep Eunice Beautiful is back with a cleanup day after more than a year where such events were suspended due to the pandemic restrictions. The Community Cleanup Day is scheduled from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. May 8.

French- immersion school to open this August

École St. Landry, a public charter school, is the newest school in the St. Landry Parish school district. While the Title I charter school operates independently, it is officially part of the parish school system and will begin classes in August.

OGH Health System Foundation receives grant to combat smoking

Opelousas General Health System Foundation (OGHSF) is the recipient of a grant from Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center (SWLAHEC) to encourage quitting tobacco and address other community needs in an effort to improve the overall health of St. Landry Parish residents.
