Help programs ongoing at First Baptist Two programs are ongoing at the First Baptist Church of Eunice Fellowship Hall. Grief Share meets on Sundays through May 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. with new material every week. Single and Parenting meets on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

Free Family Fun event at First Baptist There will be a free Family Fun Hallelujah Hop event from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, March 27 at First Baptist Church. There will be a petting zoo, pony rides, food and drinks, carnival games, face painting, balloon animals, crafts and thousands of eggs.

VFW bingo Thurdays and Sundays The VFW Post 8971 will hold Bingo. The public is invited each Thursday and Sunday at 7 p.m. to play Bingo at the VFW Hall located on Hwy. 190 East. All proceeds from Bingo games goes back to the community. There will be a New game offered.

LSUE website features comedy, Steve Riley Laughs, Jokes and Storytelling (LJS), a popular on-line television podcast hosted by veteran New York comedians Mark Riccadonna (Live at Gotham) and Richie Byrne (The Dr. Oz Show) is coming to the LSUE Performing Arts Series from 6 to 7 p.m.

Single parenting support group The next Single & Parenting seminar support group begins Feb. 24. The 13-week Single & Parenting sessions will start with a DVD than move to small groups. There will be a group facilitator for men and women. The group meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
