The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. February 20-22 Patrick Dwayne Bryant, 44, 600 block of Sapphire Street, Opelousas. Theft, possession of Schedule I CDS, possession of Schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, bench warrant (2 counts).

Mary Claire Thibodeaux Soileau

Mary “Claire” Thibodeaux Soileau passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the age of 60. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Eunice Police Arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. February 18 Katheryn Renee Vincent, 39, 300 block of Corn, Eunice. Domestic abuse battery. February 19 Ethel Marie Fontenot, 25, 800 block of North 4th Street, Eunice. Bench warrant.

Cherry trees symbolize friendship, beauty
