Administrative Day cancelled The Eunice Rotary Club has cancelled its annual Administrative Professionals’ Day scheduled for the end of April. With the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and much discussion and many weeks of planning the Rotary has decided to cancel the event.

Model shows up to 3,000 COVID-19 cases in parish

After a news conference in Opelousas on Tuesday, Ken Cochran, president and CEO of Opelousas General Health System, said a model projects the number of COVID-19 cases at 800 to 3,000. Even 800 cases would exceed the approximate 250 hospital beds in the parish.
