Rev. Davis settles in at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church

The Rev. Hampton Davis is the new priest and pastor at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Davis was assigned to St. Anthony’s Church and the Annunciation of Blessed Virgin Mary in Duralde by Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel of the Diocese of Lafayette. Rev. Davis officially took his post on July 1.

Bengal Day held at LSU Eunice

LSU Eunice held a Bengal Day Thursday for all incoming students and returning students. The event began in one of the conference rooms inside the Acadian Center. LSUE Chancellor Dr. Nancee Sorenson welcomed all students. She spoke about the programs the junior campus offers.
