Evangeline Parish native to lead Troop I

LAFAYETTE — Capt. Wayne Vidrine was appointed by State Police Superintendent Colonel Kevin Reevesa as the new commander of Troop I based in Lafaytte. The transfer followed Capt. James Cormier’s retirement from Louisiana State Police.

Cynthia Fuselier passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at the age of 58. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November, 25, 2017, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice. Fr. Matt Hebert will officiate.
