The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 26 Eugene Chambers Jr., 35, 100 block of Jennifer sTreet, Eunice. Possession of firearm by a convicted felon and resisting an officer. Alfred Devontae Terez, 17, 300 block of North Beulah Street, Eunice.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. June 26 Delwinn Arrindell Ware, 40, 100 block of Old Spanish Road, Opelousas. Simple battery; resisting an officer; remaining after being forbidden; simple criminal damage to property.

Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 23 Jessica Bolton, 30, 300 block of North Saint Joseph Street, Eunice. Disturbing the peace, resisting an officer with force or violence, simple criminal damage to property, three counts of battery on a police officer and indecent exposure.

Jimmie Dolan Pelloquin

BASILE~Our hearts are filled with sorrow as we announce the passing of Jimmie D. Pelloquin in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, June 26, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile.

Helen M. Wyble

Helen Merza Wyble, 99 years young, a native of Eunice, Louisiana and resident of Abbeville, Louisiana passed away on June 24, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 30th, at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Msgr. J. Robert Romero officiating.
