The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. July 21 Sally Ann Newton, 46, 1000 block of North 2nd St., Eunice. Domestic abuse battery. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff Department. Cameron Christopher Bergeron, 27, 200 block of Hidden Oaks Dr, Carencro.

Missing teen may be in Eunice

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Tyler Vories who left his home in Basile during the night of June 21. Vories is described as a black male, 121 pounds, 5’9” in height, with black hair and brown eyes.

EUNICE–It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rev. Melvin “Pop” Finley announces his passing on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 81.

Lillie Mae Toussaint Dupre

It is with great sadness that the family of Lillie Mae Toussaint Dupre announces her passing on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. at her residence in Eunice. She was 85. A celebration of life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice.

Billy West passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the age of 44. No Services have been planned at this time. Billy is survived by three brothers, Joseph G. West, Jr., Nathan D. West, Shawn S. West. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Gary West and Christine Marcantel West.
