The following are arrests by Eunice Police. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Tuesday, Sept. 9 William Fontenot, 54, 400 block of Liberty, Eunice. Bicycles lamps required, bicyclists obey traffic laws, resisting an officer.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Wednesday, Sept. 10 Joshua James Vidrine, 36, 200 block of Gulino Street, Opelousas. Violations of Protective Order. Arrested by Opelousas Police.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Tuesday, Sept. 9 Tray Antonio Francis, 27, 200 block of Sugarland Circle, Opelousas. Attempted second degree murder (2 counts), reckless operation.

Derrick Jacque Perkins passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at the age of 50. A Celebration of Life will be held at Quirk & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Lisa Ann Darbonne Allen

Lisa Ann Darbonne Allen passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the age of 60. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at St. Thomas More with Father Sam Fontana Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
