Robert Maybrier

BASILE~It is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Robert Maybrier announce his passing on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette with loving family by his side. He was 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m.

John "Randy" LeJeune

John “Randy” LeJeune passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 58. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at St Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata. Visitation will be held from on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 8 a.m.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Office reports arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. November 21-23 Brady Lane Fuselier, 36, 600 block of S. 7th Street, Eunice. Domestic abuse battery (child endangerment), violation of protective order, disturbing the peace, bench warrant. Arrested by Eunice Police.

LSUE to hold Winter Fair Dec. 4 The LSU Eunice Campus Activities Board (CAB) will hold a Winter Fair on Dec. 4. The event is free and open to the public. The Acadian Center Front Lawn will have real snow to create a Winter Wonderland for kids of all ages. The event will begin at 4 p.m.

Enora Bergeaux Doyle

A funeral service for Enora Bergeaux Doyle, 64, will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Eunice. Rev. Ron Lacombe will officiate. Enora's burial will be held at the Fuselier Cemetery. Enora passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020.
