Man says he was robbed naked

A 26-year-old Eunice man told police he was robbed at gunpoint of his iPhone 6S, keys, shorts and underwear while he walked in front of Central Middle School. Police interviewed the man at an apartment away from where he was robbed at about midnight Thursday.

Statewide Office of Motor Vehicles locations to close due to ​COVID-19 precautions

Due to precautions related to the COVID-19 response, Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Karen St. Germain has announced that all OMV locations across the state will be closed effective Friday. During the closure, online OMV services will remain available to the public.

Gov. Edwards: All Louisiana parishes eligible for COVID-19 business aid

Today, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced that small businesses in all 64 Louisiana parishes will have access to federal Small Business Administration disaster aid in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
