Re-enactment planned at Port Hudson

To commemorate the 157th anniversary of the “Siege of Port Hudson,” Port Hudson State Historic Site will host its annual re-enactment on March 28-29. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., volunteer re-enactors in Union and Confederate uniforms will stage activities representative of the siege of 1863.

Routinely our office investigates and arrests students for bomb threats made at local schools. In most cases, the bomb threats are written on the school’s wall. Law enforcement must and will always respond to any and all threats made towards the students, teachers, and schools.
