The following are arrests by Eunice Police. March 11 Jeffery Ryan Menard, 43, 1400 block of Jacob Road, Eunice. Theft less than $1,000, possession of Schedule II drug less than 2 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driver’s license suspension-revocation and switched license plate.

Photo contest focuses on state’s natural and scenic rivers

As part of its celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Louisiana Natural and Scenic Rivers System, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will hold a photo contest open to all photographers. The contest is to promote the beauty of Louisiana’s designated natural and scenic rivers.
