Tips sought in burglary of St. Edward Catholic Church

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the burglary of a church in the Richard Community. Saint Edward Catholic Church, located in the 1400 block of Charlene Hwy., west of Church Point, was burglarized at 10:25 p.m. Nov. 24.

Reber to speak at LSUE commencement Saturday

LSU Eunice will hold commencement ceremonies at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Health and Physical Education Building on the LSUE campus. Over 150 graduates from the summer and fall semesters will receive degrees or certificates during the ceremony.
