Adam LaFleur passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the age of 92. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Basile with Father Keenon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery in Basile.

Dukes of Hazzard star to perform Friday at the Liberty

One of the stars of The Dukes of Hazzard, John Schneider, will be performing at the Liberty Theater Friday. Schneider, who played Bo Duke on the television series that ran from 1979 to 1985, now calls Holden home. Schneider has been in the series Smallville and is now on The Haves and the Have Nots.
