Louisiana man arrested after intense multistate investigation

Thanks to a five-month investigation by Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Rangers and Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) Brand Inspectors, a Louisiana man is behind bars on three felony cattle theft charges out of Texas.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. September 5 Demond Bradley, 35, 2100 block of Dudley Street, Eunice. Issuing worthless checks (3 counts), second degree battery, criminal damage to property. Arrested by Eunice Police.

Cecil James Doucet passed away on Wednesday, September, 4, 2019 at the age of 59. No Services have been planned at this time.

Mt. Olive Cemetery volunteers needed Families of the Mount Olive Cemetery, located at 1199 E. Ardoin (on Old Crowley Road), are in dire need of volunteers for lawn maintenance, grass mowing, and up keep of the cemetery. It is a public cemetery, established many years ago.
