LSUE Office of Veterans Affairs to hold Vet Fest July 1 The LSUE Office of Veteran Affairs will have a VetFest from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 1 at the Dr. Anthony Mumphrey Center on LSUE campus.

Savoy Cancer Center touts its local treatment

Guest speakers from Savoy Cancer Center in Mamou touted the benefits of their close-to-home cancer treatment. The Rotary Club welcomed guest speakers Dr. Paul Zhang, M.D., of medical oncology and hematology, Angela Fontenot, director of marketing and SIPS Foundation; and Connie Brignac, R.N.

With harvest season rapidly approaching, rice farmers took a break from their own fields and converged on those at the LSU AgCenter H.
