Conceal carry permit class set for July 12 The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a one-day concealed carry permit training class beginning at 7:30 a.m. July 12 at 211 W. Park Ave. in Eunice. The course is $100 and $80 for a spouse or renewal.

Vet Fest at LSUE

The LSUE Office of Veteran Affairs held a Vet Fest from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dr. Anthony Mumphrey Center on LSUE campus. There were about 40 local resource-vendors on hand that provided veterans with important and valuable assistance, and resources.
