Conceal carry permit class set for July 12 The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a one-day concealed carry permit training class beginning at 7:30 a.m. July 12 at 211 W. Park Ave. in Eunice. The course is $100 and $80 for a spouse or renewal.

Mamou man arrested for child porn

In June, the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP/SVU) began an investigation into the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material, which resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old James O’Reily of Mamou.
