Police: Man said he was robbed and shot -- turns out he asked for it

A man who reported he was robbed and shot in Eunice actually asked to become a victim, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said. On June 13 26-year-old Michael Rung told police he was shot in the chest during a robbery as he returned to his residence in the 200 block of Jelk at about 2 a.m.
