Fire District 6 BBQ fundraiser Tuesday St. Landry Parish Fire District 6 will have a fundraiser BBQ hamburger sale from 4 until 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Word Ministries parking lot in Eunice. A donation of $5 will include a hamburger, chips and water.

Forest Service proposes recreation fee changes for Kisatchie

The U.S. Forest Service is proposing to change recreation fees across the Kisatchie National Forest and the public is invited to provide input to these recommended fee changes. The goal of these proposed changes is to establish consistent pricing for developed sites on the Forest.
