Riders honor 12 fallen first responders

The inaugural Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride started from the LSUE campus Monday morning on a five-day, 440-mile ride to Orange Beach, Alabama, to honor a dozen fallen first responders and raise money for the families.

Abortion restrictions advanced

Abortion continues to top the legislative agenda this week as Louisiana lawmakers in the House Health and Welfare Committee supported several bills on Tuesday that would further regulate abortions in the state.

Eunice city employee quits after text harssment charge

A 32-year-old city employee has resigned in the wake of being charged with harassing a former dating partner. Christopher Daniel Prudhomme, 32, 900 block of Wayne Road, Eunice, was charged with two counts of nonconsensual disclosure of a private image, telephone harassment and cyberstalking.
