Eunice man in critical condition following shooting

A 32-year-old Eunice man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the 600 block of Faris Street on Sunday, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at Nimitz and Faris about 11:08 a.m. Sunday, he said.

The Eunice Rotary Club is seeking nominations for the 2019 Eunice Administrative Professional of the Year. The winner will receive a free trip to Branson, Missouri; courtesy of KEUN Radio, $500 spending money from the Rotary Club, a plaque and a flower arrangement. The event will be held May 1.

I got my flu shot early in the fall. I got the flu last week. Medical folks say that the shot will make your case milder even if you get the flu bug. There may be something to that; I had only one day of the “just take me out in the woods and shoot me” intensity.
