Eunice Elementary copes with water damage

Eunice Elementary, which experienced one building damaged by fire on Aug. 14, 2018, has been coping with water damage at its administrative building. On Friday, work was being done to move administrators to a temporary building on the campus.

Neighborhood watch groups in progress

James Henry Albers II

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 1 pm in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for James Henry Albers II, 37, who died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne. Pastor Todd Menard with Family Life Church in Lafayette will conduct the funeral services.
