Students to return to Eunice Elementary

Eunice Elementary students who have been attending classes at Highland Elementary are to return to their campus within the next few days. The students were moved to Highland after a fire on Aug. 14 damaged a building at the Eunice Elementary campus.

EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Yvonne Pringle Perrodin announces her passing on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 with loving family by her side in the comfort of her home. She was 96.

Avoyelles School Board to award bonuses to highest-performing teachers

Avoyelles Parish teachers who came to work every day, whose students’ scores improved significantly and who helped their schools meet performance goals could receive a bonus this November. The Avoyelles School Board Education Committee was presented the bonus proposal at its Sept. 18 meeting.
