Marie Louise Savoy Guillory passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the age of 95. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at St. Anthony’s with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
The free Rendezvous in the Prairie program featured Drew Simon and Megan Constantin, members of the trio T’Monde, performing Cajun standards, their versions of country songs in French and English, and their own original Cajun songs. The program on Thursday was moved outdoors on a beautiful spring evening. Next month, the program, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays, will be back inside on the center’s Front Porch Stage featuring the David Greely Duo May 1, Sarah Jayde Williams May 8, the Holiday Playgirls May 15
