Unrestrained Ville Platte man killed in single vehicle crash

A single-vehicle crash on U.S. 167 near Alligator Lane in Evangeline Parish claimed the life of 22-year-old Brett M. Fontenot of Ville Platte, according to a report from Louisiana State Police Troop I. The wreck occurred about 2 a.m. Friday.
