The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Dec. 2 Trachell Akeiba Aerial Richardson, 24, 500 block of North 3rd Street, Mamou. Warrant on theft charge. Thomas Joseph Murphy II, 27, 300 block of Rodney, Eunice. Warrant on domestic abuse battery charge.

Christmas season arriving in a big way this week

The Christmas season in Eunice is arriving in a big way this week with the Eunice Kiwanis Christmas Parade, the Christmas Concert at the Liberty Center and a food drive. The Eunice Food Bank Food Drive. The food drive is set from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the food bank, 251 W. Park Ave.

Prescription drug disposal

A prescription drug drop-box is in place by the dispatch office at the Eunice Police Department. The box, which is intended for outdated or no longer needed prescription drugs, is available seven days a week and 24 hours a day. The box is placed in the department, 300 S. 2nd St.
