Back To School Event

The Eunice Housing Authority hosted its “Fill the Bag, Fuel the Future” Back-to-School Giveaway on Aug. 1 at 331 Mills St. in Eunice. The free event was open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade, who were required to be present to receive supplies.

City logs more than 100 incidents over the weekend

The Eunice Police Department recorded over 100 incidents from Friday morning through early Monday, including reports of theft, burglary, illegal use of weapons, a hit-and-run crash and a death by natural causes, according to departmental shift logs. The reports cover six shifts from 4 a.m.
