Man on scooter dies in La. 13 hit-and-run

A 25-year-old Eunice man died after the electric scooter he was driving was struck by a SUV on La. 13 near Townhome Drive in a hit-and-run. Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said police were dispatched at 5:26 p.m.

Two brother were busted in a narcotics operation the One Stop Store, 536 East Martin Luther King Drive, Grand Coteau, on Wednesday. During the operation, agents utilized a confidential informant to purchase marijuana from the store’s cashier, stated St.
