Chester John Miller passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the age of 71. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Fr. Korey Lavergne Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery.

Anward Joseph Mayeaux, Jr.

EUNICE–A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Anward Joseph Mayeaux, Jr., age 76 who passed away at his home on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Eunice surrounded by his wife, four children, and family.

Junette Hebert Manuel

Junette Hebert Manuel passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the age of 90. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

EMTL registration now underway The Eunice Men’s Tennis League will begin play for the 2025 Spring League on Feb. 17. Registration is set from Jan. 24 through Feb. 11 at the law office of Terry Hoychick, at 141 S. 6th Street, Eunice. Dues are $30. A Captains’ meeting will be Monday, Feb.
