The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
August 25
Michael Duriso, 52, 400 block of W. Wego Street, Opelousas. Simple burglary, criminal damage to property. Arrested by Opelousas Police.

Clyde H. "Boogie" Hodges III

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Clyde H. “Boogie” Hodges, III, 71, who died Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Hazel Miller Darbonne

Hazel Miller Darbonne passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the age of 83. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.
