St. Landry Parish sales tax collections continued an upward trend in June when they posted a 5.8% year-to-date increase compared to the same period in 2021, according to statistics released by the St. Landry Parish School Board tax division.

Cynthia Fink Ardoin, 76, passed away peacefully July 11, 2022. Cynthia was a native of Eunice, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Joyce Marie Mott Fruge

Joyce Marie Mott Fruge passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 83. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum.
