Belly Buddies Color Fun Run set April 13 There will be a Belly Buddies Color Fun Run in downtown Eunice from 10 a.m. until noon on April 13. All proceeds will go to Belly Buddies, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide food to Eunice’s most vulnerable students.

3-vehicle fatal crash kills 2 in St. Landry Parish on Interstate 49

Shortly after 2:00 a.m. today, Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified of a three-vehicle fatal crash on Interstate 49, about two miles north of U.S. 167. The crash claimed the lives of 67-year-old Janie Hobbs and 34-year-old Shannon Thibodeaux, both of Lafayette.
