Arrest made in agent-involved shooting in Evangeline Parish

Following the investigation into the altercation that took place on Feb. 12 involving a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agent, State Police investigators have arrested 43-year-old Johnny Clark of Turkey Creek.

Parish Council to study training for those it appoints

The St. Landry Parish Council decided more work is needed on an ordinance requiring legal and financial training for those people it appoints to boards and commissions.
