Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish is requesting the public’s assistance to locate three fugitives wanted for simple burglary. Raquel Higginbotham is a white female, 57 years of age. She is 5’, 4” in height and weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

By Bobby Ardoin Eunice News Correspondent St. Landry Parish school board members agreed without opposition on Tuesday night, to form a pair of new committees that will perhaps include public input and address long range issues such as capital outlay projects and employees’ salaries.

On Dec. 15, at about 4:30 p.m., Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop I responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash on Louisiana Highway 190 at Beck Miller Road in St. Landry Parish. The crash claimed the life of 65-year-old Glenn Thibodeaux of Eunice.
