Flag poles were placed on the roof of the St. Landry Parish courthouse on Thursday. The poles are returning to the roof where they originally were located. There will be three placed on the roof. The pole on the roof will be brought down. It’s part of the courthouse renovation work that includes waterproofing, new energy efficient windows and doors, new awning, a handicapped ramp, new courtroom on the third floor, renovated tax assessor’s office and the old courthouse bell will be placed on the grounds in
