EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, for Harold James Landreneau, age 93, with burial to follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donald Wayne Amy announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at his home near Richard. He was 75. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.

Human skull found in a vacant home

On Sunday, at 12:57 p.m. a human skull was found. Following the call in, the area was taped off and the coroner was notified. The property owner was notified and after speaking with the property owner, the Eunice Police Department released the scene shortly after 2 p.m.
