EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bobby Reed announces his passing on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Acadian Medical Center at the age of 74. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10 a.m.

TRIAD meets here

The TRIAD workshop, a quarterly St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s sponsored event, was held from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the VFW Post 8971 Hall. Live music was provided by Glenn Dale Fontenot of Breaux Bridge as well as door prizes were given away donated by merchants and health care providers.

Officer demoted, reasons detailed

Eunice Police Lt. Stephanie Myers was demoted to police officer in a disciplinary action approved by the Board of Aldermen, according to a letter released by Mayor Scott Fontenot on Friday.
