Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish seeks infomation on rape suspect

Rayne Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Clyde J. Citizen. Citizen is wanted for second-degree rape. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Citizen is described as a black male, 28 years of age. He is 5’ 10” in height, weighing 125 pounds.

Eunice residents busted in Carencro for burglary

Two Eunice residents faces charges after being arrested by Carencro Police. Police were investigating a business burglary in Carencro where equipment was damaged and several items were stolen, according to a news release from the Carencro Police Department.

Eunice man slain, suspect tracked to Lafayette

Staff report Clarence Mitchell, 36, died from a shotgun blast Tuesday afternoon in the 100 block of Bradley Street just outside Eunice. Through the course of the investigation, Leonard Miller, 35, of the 1600 block of Tyrone Road, Eunice, was identified as the shooter.
